Privacy and Complaints

The Foundation of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of its employees, volunteers, donors, potential supporters and other stakeholders. We value the trust of those we work with, and of the public, and recognize that maintaining this trust requires that we be transparent and accountable in how we treat the information that you choose to share with us.

During the course of our various projects and activities, we collect and use personal information. Anyone from whom we collect such information can expect that it will be carefully protected. The Foundation meets all legislative requirements with respect to privacy. We adhere to the privacy guidelines of the Canadian Centre for Philanthropy, and comply with the Donor Bill of Rights developed by the American Association of Fund Raising Counsel, the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy and the Association of Fund Raising Professionals.

The Foundation of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance  also adheres to the highest standards of personal and professional conduct. There may however, from time to time be concerns or complaints about or related to the Foundation of CKHA. We believe that the right to express concerns and complaints is an inherent right of our donors and stakeholders and the Foundation of CKHA is committed to a process which is timely, fair and respectful.
